The Texas Spine Center team treats spinal conditions and provides on-site spinal management for simple and complex conditions. Living Magazine also spotlights the comprehensive range of non-surgical treatments that are considered for back and neck pain, disc disease, and other spinal conditions, such as VAX-D, focused therapy, and selective spinal injections.

As a result of these spinal surgery treatments, many patients do not need surgery for their spinal condition. If surgery is needed, Dr. Siddiqi considers outpatient procedures, including percutaneous and minimally invasive endoscopic/microscopic procedures, before proposing open spine surgery. Texas Spine Center is one of the few centers that provide microsurgical procedures and minimally invasive spine surgery options for disc surgery, back pain, and spinal fusions.

“The combination of microsurgical techniques with minimally invasive surgery options for back pain, disc surgery, disc replacement, and spinal fusion results in smaller incisions, quicker recovery, and earlier return to a more normal, active lifestyle.”—Dr. Shah Siddiqi

Dr. Shah Siddiqi has been in active practice as a neurosurgeon in the Houston area for more than 18 years.
